Yin Li is a PhD student of Science and Technology Policy at Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Public Policy. At Georgia Tech, he works in the Program in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (STIP) on issues including innovation policy in the US and China, manufacturing innovation, and the governance of nanotechnology. He is currently the country correspondent of China for ERAWATCH, the S&T policy research network of the European Commission. For the period of 2011-12, Li has been awarded a NSF fellowship for his research on government and industrial innovation in China. He is also a Research Associate affiliated with the Academic-Industry Research Network. Li holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Renmin University of China, and a Master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts.
